The International Observatory of Victims of Terrorism at the CEU San Pablo University Foundation has been organising International Conferences on victims of terror since 2004
This is an international meeting that includes the participation of victims from numerous countries that have suffered or still suffer the abomination of terrorism, as well as the directors of prestigious international organisations
For the director of this VI edition, Cayetano González, this edition has the same two aims as previous conferences (Madrid 2004, Bogota 2005, Valencia 2006, Madrid 2008 and Medellin 2009) “to act as a forum at which the voices of victims of terrorism can be heard and to bring victims the recognition they deserve, both from society at large and from the various state authorities”
